Okay, finally an update!!
I decided to figure out some of this webdesign stuff myself, and finally had a few minutes to do so. Simon is a busy guy to (the webmaster) som i figured if we can both maintain the site, it might be a little more dynamic in the future.

I am done tracking everything for the new Winds record, and must say I am very happy with the result.
Both the rythm guitars and the leadwork turned out nice, and very different from most of our previous material.

I am preparing some tabs for the leadwork and hope to have some ready in time for the release of the album.

The gallery section under "about me" has been updated with some pictures my axes.

Under the media/audio section I have posted som new soundclips (as well as removed some old ones by accident...)

I am posting some more mp3's from various projects, as well as some more videos in the nearby future.

Keep stopping by, and I promise to improve my update rate...

Well, what can I say... I am a busy guy...laughs...When posting this update, I realised I had not posted anything since April last year. Time to get thing moving a bit on this site:)

We are now done with almost all the vocal tracks for the forthcoming Winds release, and it all turned out great. I am really happy with the way this album is developing, and the next couple of months will be playtime for me, writing and recording all the solos.

The Tritonus album will be sent to mastering in Canada next week, and all the is left after that is the coverlayout which will designed by Asgeir Mickelson (Spiral Arcitecht, Borknagar etc.)

I have been digging trough some old Tritonus material, and have found a few rare live videos to put on the site. I will try to have this done within a month or so.

There will probably also be some tabs available for the new Winds album as soon as the album is ready to hit the stores.

Next week I will be flying over to california for the annual winter Namm show in Anaheim. I am priveledged enough to work in the audiobusiness, so I get to check out all the cool new guitar stuff first hand at the tradeshow. It's kinda like Christmas all over again...laughs..

I have just returned from the Frankfurt MusikMesse, which was a lot of fun as usual. Thanks a lot to everyone for the great feedback I have received on the new tapping videos, and yes I will continue to post new videos examples of other techniques as well. Hopefully I will find the time to TAB these examples to, as I know it can be difficult to get all the details from low-res video.

The Tritonus debut album is now finally mix ready.
Mixing is scheduled next week at Toproom studios with Børge Finstad behind the desk.
The band will start the search for a record deal, as soon as the mix is done.

I have returned from my trip to US/Canada, and the new Winds album , "The Imaginary Direction of Time",
is completed. The album is scheduled for release sometime during April 2004.
It was a great experience working in the Factory Studios, and i really enjoyed my stay.

13th of january 2004:

I have been ask to participate on an exiting new Norwegian "all guitar" album with the working title "Guitarmageddon".

I consider it an honour to be asked to participate in a project with several of Norways best rock/metal guitarplayers, and would like to thank Øyvind "Lionheart" for this oppurtunity.

All the players are asked to contribute with one instrumental song each, and i will start writing as soon as i return from US.

More news about this project will be added to the "other projects" section under the "Projects" menu, a.s.a.p

Finally we are up and running with this site. A special thanks to webmaster Simon, for putting a lot of time and effort into getting it done.

I am travelling to USA Friday the 16th of January, to mix the new Winds album together with bandmate

The site is finally finished and has been officially launched.

We are now finally done with all the tracking for the new Winds album. Andy, Lars and I, spent the last weekend producing and recording all the vocals in Fagerborg studio, Oslo.

I am very satisfied with the entire recording, and it features my best performance to date.

Hello everybody!

I have just returned from a wonderful vacation with my family in the south of Norway ( close to Kristiansand).

Prior to my vacation i finished the recording of all my guitars for the Tritonus debut album, as well as all the rythm guitar parts for the new Winds album.

The following weeks i will proceed with the recording of the solo`s for the Winds album, which will keep me busy for a while...

I have just ordered the Line 6 POD XT to replace my POD 2.0, and are planning a short review of this as soon as i have checked it out.

The "lessons" section is currently under construction, and the first lesson will soon be posted. Be patient!
